Damson burns very nicely when dry, but according to folklore one is required to apologise to if first!
We still have about a dozen much smaller damson trees left at the front of the property.
It must have really blown to uproot a tree of say 30 foot tall like that.

A horrid sight Palustris, but with all those damson trees, you should have a plentiful supply of the damson gin with which to drown your sorrows!!
