That's interesting, MH. We have something very similar on our land and I'd always presumed it was a kind of sage rather than what I think of as a mint, but yes, Lamiaciae.
Have a look at Turkish or Jerusalem sage and see what you think. Though your flowers look to be paler. Turkish sage has bigger leaves and looks a bit more likely.

Lamiaciae was the word I was wanting but couldn't remember, but I knew mint was in that family. It's amazing how many of the culinary herbs come from that family yet all taste and smell so different.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
