Its in the garden at Trengwainton in Penzance, which is 6 miles south of us and 4 weeks ahead! Ours will be out towards end of march and is only 1.5m high!I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."

Stunning photo! I had a stellata in my last garden for about 20 years. I know stellatas aren't the largest, but it started about 3 feet tall, and when I moved it was about 4 feet tall. Your fab specimen must have been there for many years.Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.Comment
