My wallflowers and bellis were up and a decent size in three days. I've not grown spring daisies before.

My trouble with sowing flowers for next spring is getting the timing right. Sow too early and they're big leggy things that need planted out before you've space in the autumn. Sow too late and they're too small for a decent show the following spring. Pansies are the worst. No sign yet of the ones I sowed at the same time as the wallflowers and daisies.

Did you sow your Bellis direct or into modules, none of mine have come up.

I sowed them in modules in the greenhouse. I never direct sow, as I find it too hard to tell apart from weeds. Also, I want these daisies for planters rather than the border.
