crocosmia?

I've always found crocosmia corms planted straight into the ground disappear and are never seen again. I start them off in pots and plant out when they are up about 6 inches. But the ones that are out there seed and pop up all over the place. It's a wonderful world.

I've now got some crocosmia come through, although it's not flowered yet. It seems that the cat didn't dig up all of it. Bizarrely, at the other end of the garden, I noticed some crocosmia flowers last week. I swear I never planted any there though so I don't know where it's come from!
