Anyone growing dalias this year?

My dahlias have really kicked in now! So chuffed.
I'm posting a few names varieties for an aid memoir for next year.

Totally tangerine - the photo doesn't do this one justice. It's so pretty. Masses of flowers on it too!

Can't compete with yours, Scarlet, but the cheapo ones I bought last year are coming into bud, even the ones that spent the winter outdoors.

Only Zippity Doodah a small pinky/mauve one flowering here, sadly, can't even see buds on the 'dinner plate' varieties yet

I did start too early. I lost some tubers that I started early then put out in the GH to soon so they got frosted. Some in the ground in the garden here are only 3inches high.
I will start just a month or so later next year.

VC, I've some of the unnamed varieties that have resprouted. Will post some more pics later.

Yes, it was one of my favourites last year - first and last to flower and as it isn't quite as tall as the dinner plates didn't really need much support - I haven't bothered yet this year. I have a couple that look lovely in a pot to.

Mine have started to. Seeds sown in March. I hope they bulk up over the summer and make some decent tubers. I've put them in pots on my yard.
They are mostly orange ( very much like my bishop of oxford) and pink ( bishop of Canterbury) Pink ones I gifted to a friend. I've also got some lovely deep red/ burgundy ones.

VC - my deal ones are mostly red and yellow.
I don't like the yellow dahlias much - I'm a pink/red/orange girl I will get some photos of the yellow ones later.

My dahlias that I bought as tubers in Lidl are almost all in flower.
Stars Favourite, a beautiful pale pink cactus with big blousy heads.
Le Baron, wine double dahlia.
Double delight, just one in flower so far, white tinged with mauve,
Dinner Plate mixed one beautiful flame coloured, waiting for the rest.
Although these were bought at 3 for €10 they look great.

I'm still undecided whether I like these with their curled leaves but the bees certainly like them!

These are from the sales thread offer last year. They are in my GH borders as they were the ones I didn't know where to put (after planting the rest out) and thought they had already died from neglect.



The last one is my favorite so far but it suffering a lot from blackfly
