Nah, don't be daft, he keeps his chicken clothes in the garage.
And often strips of there and sticks them straight in the washing machine, also in the garage.
I am not optimistic about the ban being lifted at the end of February either, but we hope.

.
On a serious note, these restrictions have been in place since 6th December. I expect there are poultry keepers who are still oblivious to the restrictions or who choose to ignore them
Hope DEFRA can lift the restrictions at the end of February.

I didn't know about the lock in until the beginning of the month.
Luckily we don't have to worry because of the set up we have had with our chickens for about 5 years.
Their egglu is under a pergola with a Perspex roof that we had built, and the outside is covered with very fine netting and outside that there is an electric fence. So it is very unlikely that wild birds could get to the girls.
We also have a strict hygiene policy since our granddaughter has been on the scene.

you have to be careful not to walk any bird poo into the chicken enclosure too.

Definitely. Really good idea if you can do it. It also helps that the ground they have been on gets a chance of recovery.
