All I will say is,maybe they need a ickle bit of a sleep to gather up the required energy to break free & you're actually keeping them awake???(I say"they"...are we still waiting on plural?Sorry I've not been about?

think theres just the one as one is much smaller and doesnt seem to be moving like the other ....... but one wriggled yesterday i've turned it off for the night now, cos it's bed time

I'm on your side Lynda, cos I want to find out everything there is to know about hatching out eggs, what works and what doesn't cos I've accidentally been on Ebay and I've accidentally bought a Digital Thermometer Hygrometer Humidity Meter LCD Gauge cos I've got an empty little fish tank and I thought that if I get a heater for it then I might be able to do some as well but it's only an idea ................................... so far!

I once had a heater designed to turn a box into an incubator, bought online, but that was about 10 years ago, and I can't remember what site I bought it from. I used it in a polystyrene box (the sort they post chilled food in), and we had a reasonable hatch-rate for the price (about �20 when 'proper' incubators were about �50 for the smallest)
Lynda, I think your babies may need a bit of healthy neglect when getting close to hatching......

it's ok ...... i do seem to have this ability to think an overly logically way round problems ...... that other people find amusing ..... i'm used to it now just seems that the only way of getting chicky noises was to play them ........ i so want this one to hatch.
