Just looked in my journal and it usually takes toms 6 to 9 days Basil is around 5 days to 8 days. Like Wendy says you just have to be patient and no poking about under the compost
Thanks for that tap on the shoulder bren,i got a list of whats was sown on what date,now i need to put a date when they first appreared,onions and trial run toms,sown on the 2 were showing yesterday afternoon,they in the large prop/under heated mini green house,they had poly food bags on the top to keep moister in,otherwise they dry out,
