Possibly a Sunflower

I thought I was growing chillis but have found a cuckoo in the nest. It has been suggested that it is a Sunflower. Looks very like one to me. It is only in a little pot so I plan to transplant it. It has chosen to be in my garden so I wish it well.

Open to debate and how do I make a Poll....

Dont know how to make a poll Bren, but I have loads of sunflower seedlings under my bird table and the look very similar.

doesn'tlook like one to me...but then I can't see the top of it...if you have a kind of dark edged floret happening in the middle it probably is.

I have found a place for it in the ground and look forward to it showing me all its splendour (be what it may) in the months come.
