Planting between garlic

I have some winter planted garlic growing very well but was wondering if i could plant between the rows, salads etc or should i just leave them as they are as they are doing so well?

Salads, radish and other fast growing crops are good as intercrops. They keep the weeds down too.

Note to self, why am I not doing this?

I'm thinking of planting carrots inbetween mine as I'm hoping that they might work a bit like onions and deter carrot fly.

I plant onion sets between my autumn planted garlic.

Thats great thank you, have just stuck some onion sets in that i had left over, i thought i had no room for them!, which still leaves me two rows for some salad crops
