  • First Ever Harvest of anything (Radish)

OK, so I know probably not a difficult thing to grow :-), but this is my first every harvest of anything I have grown myself and I am very pleased with the results.

Just hoping my other veg will turn out as well.

Tasted delicious on my salads and greatly appreciated with those who gave some too as well.

      Congratulations. Home-grown always tastes best.

My first crop was radishes as well. But they were a miserable failure as a harvest, though they had the benefit of making a local old boy take pity on me and help me out. I've got a proper soft spot for radishes.

Hiya, just at the radishes for the moment, I haven't done anything with the leaves (put them on the compost heap).

No, I've not sown any more, I have a space in the raised bed and am still debating on what to plant in that space.

Nice one mjd, they look great . The leaves look really good too, some types of radish leaves can be a bit prickly raw but that disappears when they're lightly stir-fried.
