    I find blackcurrant jam a bit pippy so next time I'm making blackcurrant jelly - and the wonderful thing is - you don't have to remove the stalks (apparently).

      Yes, I do that too VC but you don’t get much jelly for the amount of fruit! Last year I just froze the lots and then rubbed of the tails. It was easier and blackcurrant jam sets like a dream so I shouldn’t complain.
