I'm sure I saw an old thread somewhere here about grape varieties for growing outdoors in colder areas (Scotland I think) but be jiggered if I can find it - please feel free to point me in the right direction if you can. Otherwise...
OH has had the bright spark of an idea that he'd like to grow a dessert grape - I've told him it's a daft idea but actually wouldn't mind backing down if it might just work

We've no greenhouse/poly tunnel on our plot so it will have to grow unprotected, probably up & over the bench/arbour thingy (just where I want to plant our kuri squash
).
We can offer all day exposure to sun (when we have it) but we're not in an ideal location here so it would need to be tolerant of not being 'dahn saarf' where the weather's more temperate, probably with a shorter growing season than other varieties if there is such a thing?
Can anyone offer a suggested variety?
