Mine is in my mothers back garden. It has also got a bit bigger every year. I have just about got it under comtrol and have now put in 5 raised beda, one for strawberries 4 for veg, a large portion of the top of the garden for peas and a strip at the side for onions and garlic. I am well pleased because this project has taken me a long time but i think i have finally done it.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

When I lived in Portsmouth I tried to get a plot on the allotment site right by the beach, but the waiting list was about 10,000 people long

I've got three plots in Colchester now - two of which are on what is apparently one of the oldest allotment sites in the country.

Mines in Old Woking, Surrey. about a five minute drive away but it is on the route I take to work, so watering etc in summer (if needed ) is not a special trip.

didn't we have a thread where we were posting maps of our plots somewhere?

                              Hi everyone
I would like to introduce myself. I'm comparatively new to this site. My hubby and I both have allotments in Warrington.
