Well, it goes to show that outdoor activities really do improve your lifestyle! On my old site there was an 89 year old chap, used to have a couple of plots (one all chickens, the other all veg) - funny chap, always had time for him. Kept calling me kid mind, and that annoyed me a bit - but I guess it was just his thing.

First AGM today under the new regime... It was brilliant, really, really positive We're definitely having a skip to get rid of loads of rubbish, a coffee morning and seed swap, possibly an open day; I presented my chickens argument, we've discussed locking the gates at each end of the path to keep the dog walker/filthy barstewards out, and I got elected to committee

That sounds really positive. You have got me thinking about our AGM on Tuesday.

Well the survey results from the street say coffee morning - so I might be organising one for them - our big problem would be location. Finding indoor communal space locally - although the other tenants group have a nice building...

Wasn't that I was thinking about though
