Theft and vandalism

To be honest I was sleeping pretty badly for a few days after it all happened and have been obsessive about how often I've been going up to the point of not having much more of a life but I'm still cropping so will carry on. They don't seem bothered enough to dig things up so at least the spuds and carrots etc should be OK (fingers crossed) if nothing else!

I assume that's a euphemism for saying that they were brought up badly and didn't know any better.

It will mostly likely be bad parenting, but from a scientific viewpoint, one of the last aspects to develop in the brain is empathy, and that tends not to happen until the mid-to-late twenties. So, to a degree, they don't really understand the repercussions of their actions.
