Round ere they grow the show leeks in the same bed 'trench' every year! Not a presonal devotee of monoculture but sometimes 'needs must'!
I must say that there is a lot of work done on the leek trenches each year, to include turning out all the soil adding compost and manure and all kind of secret formulae's before returning soil and basically building a poly tunnel over sets of three trenches!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
Rotation is a good idea but it's not always easy and it's not set in stone. If your leeks have to go in the same ground two years running, then they have to go in the same ground two years running. I would however, try and plan it for next season that you rest this area from any of the allium family - onions, spring onions, shallots, leeks etc.
