First allotment

An allotment is a time warp and a 40min visit turns into an hour with no much action gone on. xxx

Only an hour? Wow!
I pop down for an hour mid-morning and find it goes dark before the hour is up

At one point I considered making a sundial, but I think I actually prefer the timelessness as it makes a very welcome change from my day job!

Haha that's so funny, I'm the opposite ! I go up for 20 mins and sometimes I have to go back before I've lifted a tool - my kids are so young and always seem to have other plans.

I'm nervous about having the yellow raspberries grow out of control, could I have more success planting them in submerged pots with drainage holes?
