Mine are deeply sad! Derry Boots - the lined things that middle aged ladies walk their dogs in - but I'm past middle age and don't have a dog! Cost about £20. However, they are warm and comfy and don't give me cramp - which most wellies do. If it's dry in the garden I wear a pair of trainers though. Arthritis (poor old sack!) makes tough footwear seriously uncomfortable. I am very careful not to put the fork through my feet, I must add.

You most certainly are not, because if you are, then so am I - and I refuse to be that!

Wish my wellies'd stand up on their own like that! Mine are like two drunken sailors, and they smell too - even though I empty a tub of bicarb into them after every use!

                  Or new boots?

I have trouble gettin me feet in them as it is, without removing more foot space! I think it's due to a spate where I wore them sans socks. (I hate wearing socks!)

Thanks yes: a stout rope tied to fence round rear of bull and looped round other side of bull and round fence: pulled him closer to fence so I could lift his head enough to pull the ring off.
He was very weak, went down on his knees, panted for 30 secs then slowly and unsteadily walked out of the 50cm furrows of mud he had made trying to get free. Started grazing still looking weak.

                    Now fine...
Fear... I bet you where filling your wellies with it.

have to fess up and say my ware-rite wellies cost me £35... they are comfyish but not very warm! I an usually a size 4.5 - 5 but i had to get these in a 6 as I have huge trouble finding wellies small enough for my feet but big enough for my calves (too much cycling many moons ago I guess!)
