Good afternoon , a damp dull day today, we visited our friend today her daughter has just had a hysterectomy, so not able to do any lifting etc. (do you remember when those type of operations were talked about with the hand hiding the mouth, and spoken in a whisper) anyway I had a name plate to put up and a small cabinet to build, which gave OH and her a good chance to gosip, what do women talk about all the time they were on the phone to one another for about an hour on Sunday , I took OH for some shopping while I went to the bank, then home so nothing out of the ordinary to talk about but they still managed something, I will never understand women

Not much news to report here. The usual - work. Ah well!

Mum going home from hospital today. Turns out it's a severe flare-up of osteoarthritis. I'm back on Friday. Meanwhile she's getting some help from the Red Cross and the hospital's Rapid Response Team. Just have to see how it all goes after that

Just had to delete 'Lots of love' from the end. Just goes to show how much I like you all!

Really must get those geraniums indoors today or tomorrow.
We had guests, and as they still looked nice and the weather had warmed up, we decided to leave them out a tad longer.(plants, not guests)

Another mild morning but no blue sky so far, may get another few hours on the plot, as I did yesterday in the sun - lovely and warm, and had to take off my jacket.

Off to work with a spring in my step - yeah right - sun does make you feel happier.
There’s a gammon joint in the slow cooker and banana muffins made for breakfast at work.
Phew!
The saga of the Sindy dolls on flea bay is coming to an end, next week should finish them off.

Morning, its windy but dry here looks like the suns trying to come out so it'll be a good day to spend pottering around in the garden.

Good afternoon, again a dull damp day, OH wanted to go to a clothes shop (why are there shops exclusively for women but not for men nowadays? is that not a sort of discrimination) anyway went down to the shop which unfortunately was closed, so we then went to a GC where I let her buy me a coffee, she has a hospital visit tomorrow so she reckons after that we could head back to that shop as it will be open, I don't know she seems determined to spend some money I am watching the boy's just now and I think the hearing aid is coming out as the youngest has a wah-wah thingamyjig for his guitar and is giving it laldy, I think I will need to be looking into making him soundproof room in the loft, even with the hearing aid out its loud, no matter his mum will be in shortly and I can go home I cant hear him down there getting dark now so stay safe and pass on a smile

Snoop, your mother has my sympathy, osteoarthritis in very debilitating at times, and has you sclimmin the wa's (climbing the walls) at times, hope she gets some respite soon

Morning everyone, looking fairly grotty outside today.
Never mind, yesterday was gorgeous
Off out for a coffee with a friend this morning, well she’s one of my bosses really. We work together but don’t get time to really have a good chat.
She reckons an hour with me helps her more than her �40 an hour therapist. I don’t know about that, but I do a lot of listening
So that’s me for this morning

Sun and misty here at the moment.
The grass is sopping wet with dew. Hope it has a chance to dry out so I can get the 'last' (again) cut of the year done.
Maybe I'm being too optimistic eh?

Mrs Domestic Goddess this morning!
Dishwasher on, washing machine on with second load, tumble dryer on, eggs hard boiled, casserole cooking, kitchen tidied.

I may need a rest now!

Plenty of rain again. Interestingly, we keep hearing great thuds at odd times. Not likely to be anyone working on the land. Hope it's not some underground collapse in the water vein. Oh, and I had to go outside. Turns out my pac-a-mac isn't waterproof. Oh well. Good excuse to put the range on.

Not much other news. Got masses of work to get through before heading back to UK to see Mum.
