No sunshine for us today, it's the return of the murk... (return of the murk) there's a song there I think and quite cool with it.
A day to tidy up for the weekend, plus there's always ironing pfft......

Waiting in for a deliver today, so, basically a lazy day for me.

Another lovely sunny morning here with a cool 8 deg.
Business in the post office today then off to see my new grandson this afternoon.
He is now 3 months old and growing at a rate of nought.
He is swimming with his mother this morning.
Talk about starting young!

Drove past the new V&A museum in Dundee, boy it's busy round there now, it looked quite nice in the sunshine.

It's been a lovely if slightly breezy day. I went in to my allotment in mid morning and spent almost 4 hours forking out nettles and other weeds from the beds I grew my show celery and the first batch of my show cauliflower. I then emptied my compost bin, and did a wee bit of running repairs to the plot fence.

Lunch sitting on the floor of the boot of the car. There probably won't be too many days nice enough to picnic out from here to the end of the year so I made sure I enjoyed it.

Good evening, it has been a nice day today, but haven't done any garden work, again I need to rest my shoulders after doing some work yesterday, and must say this is beginning to get very annoying, but if I avoid lifting to much I should be fine, though I did make a box using pallet straps and this is to hold my begonia tubers, I am hoping that the wood will keep them frost free, and also save using polystyrene or plastic boxes, we will see how that goes. I think you need to do less washing up and housework....that's what's doing it.

Morning all, don’t mind if I do Nicos. Diet restarts Monday, so croissants on Saturday or Sunday is fine this week.
Beautiful start to the day again, will put some washing on shortly.
We have a lovely orange rose in the garden that is flowering so beautifully at the moment. Wish I could post pictures on here to show you.

Afternoon all.

Gorgeous day here again. Bit Chilly and bit breezy but hey, it's nearly October and it's dry . My show shallot bulbs had a spell outside making sure they were properly dried out. I've treated them with fungicide and J*e*y*e*s fluid in a solution of water to try to prevent the horrible grey mould that can mean a bulb is ruined and at over �3 a bulb it's worth the effort to try to save as many as possible.

My fav English football team - Man U - made a pudding of it again.

Now listening to commentary of my local team - Aberdeen - v Celtic. Nil nil at half time so that one is at least close.

The tomato crop is wearing to an end and that is sad. I always say it's the crop I miss most when it's done. Shop bought just doesn't compare.

Good day, spent the day clearing out my flower beds, was quite pleasant when I started, cloudy but a reasonable temperature, unfortunately that didn't last as it is now bitterly cold, did get the beds cleared and everything shredded, OH is away out with our daughter and granddaughter and they are now in some restaurant for some thing to eat, so I have ro make my own tea, I wonder where the instruction book is for the oven or can you boil eggs in an electric kettle and how do you open a can if beans when their is no rim on the can I think I will have a fish supper, need to go and see if I can find some money she surely wouldn't expect me to use my own
