    I'm gutted.

Pakistan, Haiti, and all the middle eastern countries have so far not donated anything to the appeal. The worlds gone mad I tell ya.

The world is going potty! Next thing we'll read about is a tsunami in Langland Bay!

Its possible. There was a probable tsunami in 1607 in the Severn estuary that inundated several villages on both sides of the channel.

Yes, but the Severn estuary has a peculiar tidal system of its own. A tsunami at Langland bay might wash all those horrible pebbles away.

Maybe the 1607 tsunami deposited the pebbles.
