The man came today to read the gas and electric meters. I said no problem come round the back.
As he came through the side gate into the back garden he looked up said "Oh what a lovely garden you've got" He then caught sight of my beefsteak tomatoes sitting on the table in the conservatory and said "Holey moley ! look at the size of those tomatoes"
The simplest of comments and they made my day.
