So several 10ml syringes of slightly sugared water later daft pigeon is trying to be it's hero Foghorn Leghorn (yes, a cockerel but hey ho).

Got lots of seeds today Mostly from Premier Seeds and mostly a very belated birthday present of many varieties of sprouting seeds/microgreens for my mother who insists she has no space in her garden for any more plants.

Mostly, that's what I bought...

I got some walking onion bulbils, wizard field beans and April spring cabbages from Real Seeds, and three varieties of bunching/Welsh onions, some autumn/winter lettuces and some green manure from Premier Seeds for me.

Worth the hot sticky walk to the parcel place (the Premier Seeds one was too fat to go through my letterbox!) Now I just need to complete my order from Chiltern Seeds and then I must not look at any more seeds for a while (almost certainly moving next year, so I won't be able to grow anything that crops this far into the summer but that's a good excuse to sow super early peas, right?)

Just had a phone call from granddaughter,we are pregnant again,and all is well this time,got a pic of the scan ,next week will know the sex,i am guessing boy from the head shape,this will be the 4th GGchild,i knew a few weeks ago,but did not want to jinks this one wow

I was right,it is a boy,due in early December.

I have just found some seeds reduced in poundstrecher So of course I picked a few packets up. Han isn't here at the moment so she can't grass me off to Grandma.
On another positive even though I can't dig my new plot over I can sit there and watch the world go by. Plus, third plus so far, my hedge is full of blackberries.
Fourth plus there is a plum tree that is full of fruit. Meant to be a yellow type ideal for pies.

IT came from nowhere without warning,wet the washing and the ground,very noisey it was to on the porch roof,less than 5 mins,but was good,the steam was comming of my shed roof,ground dry,washing wet through,now hot again,nice whilst it lasted,and not a drop in the barrels either,it must have dried up as it hit the concrete roof tiles.

After days and days of clear sky�s we now have total cloud cover and some ( not a lot ) of rain but there is a promise of more.

Real rain over night, and after nights of not sleeping properly a good nights rest due to the cool breeze, which has how shall we say 'stiffened' some what.

I’ve just picked my first toms.
My plants look terrible even thought they have been fed and watered.
Not a huge amount but more than enough for tonight’s planned tea.

Picking a "Wild Strawberry " when watering the peppers in the tunnel. Had a few that I didn't get round to planting out. Put them in a hanging basket and they are now cropping
