OK can I bring a 12 bore shotgun as it may be an easier way of getting the donkey back on the ground?

^^^^^^^No Cad you can't because it will scare the poor little beasties. You will have to stand in the middle of the field calling and singing softly to them so they come to you.

Well I was sold on the idea as soon as I read those magic words licensed club

You can't have a holiday without a few cocktails. Here are my suggestions

                The veggie
                1 shot white rum
1/2 shot dark rum to float
1 Tablespoon lime juice, plus rind
                1 Tablespoon orange curaçao liqueur
                1 Tablespoon orgeat syrup
Served with a red wine chaser

                The green margarita
                1 shot tequila
                1/2 shot Cointreau
1 Tablespoon lime juice, plus lime slice
                Course grained salt
Served with a cabbage leaf garnish

                The bloody scarey
                1.5 shots vodka
                3 shots tomato juice
                2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
                1 dash Tabasco
1/2 teaspoon horseradish (or to taste)
                1 Tablespoon lemon juice
                Salt and pepper (to taste)
                Lager float (optional)
Garnish goodies, such as olives, celery, cocktail onions, etc…

                The old jay-ell
                1.5 shots whiskey
                2 dashes angostura bitters
                1 sugar cube
                1 teaspoon water
                Onion slice
                Cherry

                Scarlet's Manhattan
                1.5 shots bourbon
                1 dash angostura bitters

                2 shots gin
                Dash of vermouth
                Lemon rind

I've just had a brilliant idea!

And yes I can hear the laughing from here.

We could sell the supa doopa flying donkey doo dah and fund not only all of SP's cocktail ingrediants but also cover the cost of the re hab necessary afterwards.

If the donkey could be trained to poop as it flew over the beds of a plot think how much time that would save shovelling it from the heap near the entrance to your plot !

The job is yours then Cad - as the not so old (quite recent really) folk saying goes - those that suggested it requested it.

I can just imagine the newspaper headlines (Q GL) - Donkey Whisperer Trains Wild Flying Donkeys To Help Saddo Gardeners

We'll all see that blurry view after a round of SP's cocktails

I quite fancy A Veggie right now - especially the red wine chaser.
Thinks............do I have to run after it or in front of it
