Went to do 60 more lengths at a different swimming baths today only to find the outdoor pool area is open for summer!

Spent a wonderful 2 hrs splashing around in various areas...and even caught a bit of a tan!
Do I feel guilty?.....absolutely not!

Mr Snoop is doing most of the watering for me today, good man that he is. I've got PD (paid drudgery) stretching out ahead of me for the whole day.

Didn't get to do any of my gardening jobs yesterday due to interruptions and unexpected visitors. But never mind, had some good chats instead.

Off out early tomorrow to do some shopping (new phone maybe, WiFi signal booster and some leeks seedlings if I can find any), so will see you all Saturday.

On the way to swimming yesterday my friend wanted to look at some tops in the sales for her hols next week.
I HATE clothes shopping , but 'did a rary' ( made her smile) by saying " but of course!"...she was driving, so in effect I had no choice!....but....I came away with 2 new tops for gardening
(...well, I may need to use them for best for a while )
So I'm pretty chuffed cos they also had 70% off( thought VC might be impressed!)

More swimming later...hopefully!

Morning, was up half the night with the dog again so I can testify that it rained most of it...it's off now but it's dull! Can't you lot 'down South' share some of yours?
Ironing to do today...there is a mountain, where does it come from?! Managed to get the grout in the bathrooms done yesterday, looking brand new. Amazing what a little drop of Milton and an old tooth brush can achieve.

Good morning all. We have the sun as well but living on the coast is always a bit cooler.
Just back from collecting the GG. We have her for the day. Unfortunately later on I will be bringing her to vsit her other granny in the hospice. She wants to visit as much as possible while she can. She is only 13 and it has been a lot for her to take on board but she is coping well so far.

Well the hot day turned into a vigil in A & E with my daughter. She has had the tummy bug for 3 days and chest pains last night, so off to hospital this morning for bloods, ECGs and rehydration. Thankfully there wasn't another MI and she's home now. Phew. See you tomorrow.

Good evening weather hasn't been too nice today, had to go up to my sons and let the pup out after dropping the boys off at school, then do some shopping, and I am still trying to work out why a broken wrist makes you go round a shop slower though the wrist must be very sore as I can feel the heat coming through the plaster), if I could I would take the pain for my wife. Mind you I would be a better patient and of course less demanding. Well I need to go, there are rumblings about the state of the tables That I sit at to read or do any work, but as I have said every time she mentions it "I will get it tomorrow" Soon be the weekend for those who think the weekend is important, so enjoy your day tomorrow and remember pass on a smile, (on that I note Nicos has given it a try, and I would bet her friend enjoyed that).
