Good evening Folks, it has been a very wet night here tonight, rain battering on the conservatory roof had difficulty hearing OH talking to me, mind you taking the hearing aid out didn`t help, but I still heard her, she told to me we needed to have a word, so after thinking on it I agreed, I still have my word, I didn`t get using mine. Well I wish you all a good night, I am off to write down my word just incase I forget it, I would put it in my diary if I could remember where I put it. Goodnight

I feel a bit like I have been neglecting family by not popping by. I hope everyone is fit and well and your bounty is plentiful

I have been left to it at work for a few months and have been managing both sides of the business. By the time I finish my shift I just want to shut my brain off and not communicate with the outside world. The good news is that the owner is back and has taken some (SOME) of their old duties back on. My brain as a result is a bit happier at the end of each day and I have time to spend in the garden because I want to, not because I have to. Makes a difference that, doesn't it? It means I got up this morning and felt like making plum vodka and plum gin. It'll be a fine xmas in the KCN house this year hee hee.

A moist, good Sunday morning from my bacon-infused kitchen ....... coffee would be lovely with my bacon, mushroom and egg baguette, thanks KCN...!

We're hoping to go see big son and future DIL shortly in their new house ~ not been for a while, and if I wait for an invite ~ we'll never go...! Busy lives, these youngsters .....!

First coffee done, time for another before I put on my new wellies and get in the garden. OITC is off tutoring this morning then watching fitba this afterneen so it's just me and the poochies. Aaaah, me time...

Morning all, miserable and wet here.
Got our a Daughter and GG coming over for dinner later, hopefully
Got roast pork out of the freezer, bought when Lids had it on offer.
Sent out a prayer last night that the runners would just grow a few extra inches over night.
Will leave it as late as possible to pick them lol. Coming to the end of them now.
Anyone been watching Strictly? All is well in my world when that's on

Morning all...just. Suns out, rain has finally stopped, well for a little while! Had a rude awakening at 5.30 this morning when Harry dog had a wee fit. Got him sorted he went back to sleep as did OH and I was left staring at the ceiling. Read my Kindle and last I looked it was 7am. Woke again at 10.30 so had a lovely long lie.

The sun is shinning here. But we are meant to be having rain later on. I'm just about to get ready, off to the garden center and then to the allotment. Got to move plants over from old plot to the new plot. And also weed and dig some beds over.

It's been a nice sunny afternoon here.

I'm finally seeing the end of the Big Cat Deep Clean - just got to dust/wipe down the furniture from the attic room and put it back in place, and that's yer lot.

Don't know why I'm going on about getting another cat(s) - I could have built myself a whole cat army from scratch from the enormous amount of cat hair that I have recovered from the vac and the carpet cleaner. And I'm not letting on the colour of the water in the carpet cleaner when I'd finished!

The rain didn't last long and we've had sunshine all day it went dark earlier than I expected so I nearly had to use my torch to pick raspberries.
