You'll be in hot water if you don't do those dishes - and dry and put them awayOriginally posted by rary View PostNow I find this post, could you not have sent a private message, and if I do them in the sink do I need hot water?

Lovely sunset, Cptn - although the pylon takes a little of the romance away I feel.Originally posted by cptncrackoff View PostSlept out under the stars last night, was amazing!!

Funny how different circumstances bring different bitey things. I've found that tackling the weeds at the Hill brings about a zillion bites and scratches, but they both pretty much 'wash off' in a hot bath after. A run in Sutton Park in the dusk brings half a dozen bites which last about 24hrs and are gone. Hidously sweaty Speedwork at the athletics track for an hour on Wednesday evenings brings out a couple of absolute crocodile bites which itch like fury for days, and are in danger of scarring for life.Originally posted by veggiechicken View PostWere they biting, Cptn?

Give me a mo, BB - I like the GN/Cher/Dawn French clip - but really, a cover of Diana Ross' Chain reaction? At what point does this cover hit the 'adds to the original' criterion??Originally posted by bearded bloke View Post

Ah - quite agree, the double drum kit was point of some excitement at the time as I recall! Best of drum/percussion on a pop track I think is on this Moody Blues number - Graeme Edge on drums (so far so ordinary), but along with an Animal-like exuberant display by Gordon Marshall - watch him spinning around out the corner of the camera's eye here...Originally posted by bearded bloke View Post........Drums, I wonder how many have noticed that they are best worked as two sets, a great exponent was
Adam, the bulk of his tracks were 'double drum'

Can't fault PC on drums, of course, and this Clout number is a top song allround, BB - mind you, those perms are a bit fierce! I remember going under the rollers a few times about that time. Probably wouldn't but my hair through that now - anything which makes your eyes water to that extent is likely not good for you.Originally posted by bearded bloke View Post

Well, I've not added much to the party tonight - so thank you for the toons, BB! On the (very tiny) plus side, late as it now is, I have not unravelled the string and got lost around the YT byways.
Tomorrow is a day of the continuation of Big Cat Deep Clean - I'm now up to the the top deck where the back attic room has lots of 'loft' type stuff to be assessed for ditching/staying before light fitting cleaning, wall vacuuming (I am not kidding here) radiator de-fluff and vac, skirting board wiping down, carpet vac then carpet clean.
The final task will be the big attic room where I sew. Not looking forward to that - decisions about clearing/keeping are tough!
Sunday is the first race of the new running season - a short one at 5miles which I ran last year in a pleasing enough time. To keep my hand in, I ran a practise round the route last weekend and knocked spots off that time - hurrah!
The question is whether I can pull a bit more out the hat on Sunday? I'm confident of a PB, but I have a target in mind which might prove ambitious...

Mornin n'all n'all
Nice one here again...though it really is staying dark later.
We tend to notice the mornings rather than the nights drawing in - at first anyway....one hour either way does make quite a difference!
Lots going on here...mostly crafting, making new price labels, finding table cloths and washing them etc etc....I only do one summer fair every other year and 3 Xmas Fairs so stuff does tend to get hidden amongst our other jumble of ' rubbish' ( Hazel....you'd be in yr element lass sorting out our storeroom!
)
Have a great day peeps, whatever you're up to!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

Hot waters best but if you're pushed for time take the dishes in the bath or shower with you. Takes care of two things at once.Originally posted by rary View PostNow I find this post, could you not have sent a private message, and if I do them in the sink do I need hot water?

Morning all
Working again today. I hope the place isn't a mess, I'd rather be here tidying up my own mess than someone else's. But I do quite like the money.
I'll have another go at chutney making later but it probably won't happen. Very little enthusiasm for anything after work.
Have a good day everyone

Morning all, it rained all day yesterday so I would like it to stay dry today....I cleared sons room out last night
why are boys so untidy, clothes everywhere...I need Hazel in there now hoovering the walls! Skirting boards and behind the radiator wouldn't go amiss either
Kettles on and (don't read this Jay!) sardines are ready
