Ive got my kiln today SP, it is indeed a much needed piece of kit for jewellery making im so excited!im going to be doing some copper enameling!!

It's in place, been fired and cooled once and Im ready to go in the morning,....enameling on copper here I come!

Hope you kept some reserves for your lights

Nice bright morning here with a few dry days needed for my painter to proceed with painting the outside of the house. Colours are picked so hope we got it right (outside is being painted for first time since we built it)

Cycled into work this morning so that's my exercise for the day...

Morning the suns out so its a good day here My toms are finally ripening they've been slow this year but now there's some to pick every day, those and courgettes.

Good afternoon Folks, a nice day hereabouts and a comfortable temperature, actually feels a bit autumnal, Jay I hope you are feeling a bit better and can enjoy the nice weather, have been a bit busy the past week as they grandsons are back at school, so someone has decided to take advantage of the free time I thought "I" had will have to go just now as I have to collect grandchildren from school. Afternoon everyone and thank you for your kind thoughts, they are much appreciated. I'm feeling a lot better today, not 100% but getting there. It's a lovely day here and I'm on the couch I had a walk around the garden earlier and although the flowers are doing not bad the veg is not. Hardly any toms this year and what there is are all green. Seems to be a better fruit year. Anyhoo will go have a quick catch up. Hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather and having a great day.

Was 31C outside earlier, I am in the lounge, sticking to the armchair (literally) with all windows open and a fan on to be on the safe side.

Hope your feeling better Jay,do not know where this day has gone to,had a reasonable sleep,then fell asleep in the chair and had aprox 4 hours,MR woke me up just after 2 pm,i think he was a bit worried about me,i must admit to feeling stressed out,and not coping as i should,but life goes on,i can also see in my cristal ball,someone should be looking for a new roof over their head,HOHUMHUM ,just heard from G daughter,we are expecting another GG son,just wish i could wake up and feel good,sorry,just letting it out,and this blasted heat is no good either,to top it all today is our 49th w anniversary,hay ho we still have each other ,and tomoz is another day,then you all knew that dint yar

Just got back from holiday in the camper van - had a great time at longleat safari park - amazing place & animals, kids loved feeding the animals and we had a close encounter with a rhino which involved a man on a tractor not so gently pushing it off our camper!

Good fun at cheddar gorge as well, the dreamcatchers experience in one of the caves was fantastic, & caves nice & cool on a really hot day!

Full on touristy holiday & it was great

2 whacked out children resting on the sofa & 2 whacked out parents running around doing laundry, collecting dog etc...
