Frost protection complete - I always feel so mean covering the potatoes!

Finally got the house to ourselves after the plasterers clearing off for the day.
Just time to eat before settling down for the night in front of Eurovision - it may be sad, but I don't care!

Ive been to Wales with OH today, he was racing in a 10mike TT. He went off for a warm up 20mins before his race and 2mins later another cyclist turned up and said my OH had punctured! I raced up the road to find him, looking at the clock got to him with less than 15mins spare!! He'd taken his wheel off ready, tyre was off and he managed to get another on and pumped up in minutes. He had it clipped in in seconds and then had to cycle 3 miles to the start line...he got there with two mins to spare. Phew! He would have been gutted if he didn't start
It wore me out thinking about it
Ive brought most of my chillies indoors but OH has taken an electric radiator up to the GH, fingers crossed it's hot in there tomorrow or I'll be very upset.

Morning me'n'all from a nippy but sunny Nestland, got down to 6c overnight so all appears to be ok. Have a good Sunday whatever you decide to do & hope all your babies survived overnight.
