Morning all, I'm in early - see rant thread
Had a great day yesterday visiting my sisters, took our Step Mum with us as well.
Had a lovely couple of hours in a huge GC. Bought more potatoes and a couple of crafty bits
Step Mum chose a couple of Raspberry Ripple primroses for her Mothers Day present. Very pretty they were.
Daughter seems to be coming out if her low place, so there's progress.
Off on a health and safety course this morning, then off to lunch with a few volunteer friends.
This diet thing will take another battering today me thinks

Morning all
Overcast today but still dry at the moment. Plan on sorting out 5 of our 7 different wood piles today Because we don't need that many. Nobody needs that many! Some is burning material, some building, some fencing, some " that might come in handy " , some a mix of everything.

Morning all. I have a runny nose and a sniff to match - yeah I know yeuch, but I'm bright n breezy . Yesterdays painting went without hitch. Finished the top landing and then recoated the stairwell and bottom hall. Didn't have a drop of paint left whenI finished so breathed a sigh of relief there. Needless to say, her ladyship is happy but ................... .

Anyway, today I'm starting with the loft hatch and surround. Crazily enough, that is directly over our bed. Whoever puts a loft access into a bedroom?

All white and shiney outso in is the place to be .

Morning all. Hoping to get down the allotment this morning when it finally warms up. We had another frost last night so the car will need scraping off again.
Going to try and get some old runner bean seeds planted today. Just to see if they will start growing mainly.

Heavy white frosts with orange sunlight twinkling off it.
Melting quickly though.
Grasp the moment eh?

We have about 30 blue and great tits devouring the last few peanuts we put out for them...must get more!

Once again my plans to get out to the garden centre are disrupted.
O H is out at a meeting this morning and grandaughter has been dropped in with a heavy cold so, I am indoors on babysitting duty.

That's Thursday nearly dealt with...it's been a busy week, but don't feel as if I have achieved much though
Think it's one of those weeks when the mo-jo is a no go for me...

Anyways upwards and onward I suppose..I did manage to force myself to run 5.5k today to see if that would shake me up

Cold today but lovely when the sun was out. Worked up a sweat planting daffodils in the front garden. Moved a rose bush into a sunnier location and a pot-bound evergreen into a border. Did some weeding. Am tired after all that but feeling pleased about getting something productive done.

Meanwhile next-door's cat, Felix, sat sunning himself and was probably wondering what that mad woman was doing

Not looking forward to tomorrow. Having my eyes tested after many years and I know I probably need new glasses so that will hurt the wallet some.
