Mornin' Scarlet

I don't know where the time has gone, last year went by in a whirl for me. It's almost a year since my op (hysterectomy) so I have been concentrating on getting fit (that's al augh!). Busy working too

Yesterday was me birfday, hence the slight queasy tum... all it took was 2 cocktails at lunch then 2 glasses of wine back at home...

Afternoon all. Cold here today and we keep having odd snow showers. Kids keep singing 'Can we build a Snowman?' from Disney's Frozen. Starting to seriously dislike that song now.
Have a major tidy up in a bit. You can tell its the weekend with all the mess the kids make.

No snow here but is cold..

Two poached eggs, some toasted brown bread, tea and orange juice and an hour later I was on the bike😊
Did 75km today so upped last weeks distance which was pleasing.....but it was tough😴
Now having a cuppa and a relax..

It's stopped snowing here now. Not looking forward to going out in it tomorrow for work. And hope it does not turn to ice.

I've not done much today apart from read my book, cook tea and watch a film.

I know I am young but I prefer staying in keeping nice and warm with a good book to read.

Good evening Folks, an other cold day here today, after church just stayed in for a lazy day, grandsons came down for sledges, was going to go with them but was told NO, by OH, she said I might do damage if I slipped, not sure if she ment to my legs or to the ground so went out to the greenhouse and made a potting bench using a bit of worktop for the base and a piece of poly. carb. for the sides, but decided not to sow or plant anything just yet, had the fire on and it took the temperature up from zero to 18c made it quite comfortable working in there. Well I wish you all a good night and hope you all stay safe over the next week, and no Nicos I didn`t get round to making a snowman, but you are welcome to come up and make one yourself as you can see theres plenty of snow Goodnight

Lucky here the snow has gone and the roads are clear. Just keeping our fingers crossed it stays that way, the lads have a busy day tomorrow.

Relaxing in front of the fire before getting an early night for flight in morning

Off to the big town of London tomorrow for a couple of days for work...A year since I was in London but I watched Penny Dreadful lately so I know what to expect

Warning...Penny Dreadful is seriously tense viewing for anyone thinking of having a watch

Morning All

Rather chilly this morning, but mainly due to the wind. We managed to escape the snow yesterday, thankfully.

Supposed to see a significant drop in temperatures over the next 3 nights but then back to 6 overnight. Anyone out and about today please take care and have a safe and pleasant day
