  • What gadgets do you have but rarely use?

This is the opposite of BigMallly's thread! What gadgets have you bought that are a waste of space in your home, garage or garden - and I don't mean family members

    Mine are :-
    Iron,
    Dishwasher
    Electric Wok
    Icecream maker
    Slowcooker
    Steamer
    Video player and camera
    Cassette player

I'm sure I have lots more

In the kitchen that would be my mandolin, but on the odd occasion it's used it is the only way to go

An iron, an electric carving knife and a juicer, the juicer is heading for the charity shop, what a waste of time!

I have a mobile phone that I very rarely use, then when I do want to use it the battery is flat.
I have a bread maker but fresh bread gives me violent indigestion.
I have a sat nav, but rarely go anywhere.
I have a Canon 450D with loads of lenses but find I use my wife's pocket camera most.

I do not own a iron, the creases fall out eventually

i very rarely use my hairdryer and if i do its not normally on hair

I threw away our juicer and deep fat fryer not that long ago
The toasty maker broke and i did not replace it.

I forgot about my exercise equipment till it was just mentioned so it's definitely my exercise bike & stepper machine,I used to use them all the time,I hang washing on them sometimes now,so I kind of use them. I have a wood sander gadget that I haven't used for about 10 years,it's good though, but I don't need to sand anything. I've got a couple of DVD players that don't work, never use them,I have no idea why I still have them & a VHS player doesn't work,I sound like a hoarder I just need to have a good clear out when time allows.

A cherry stoner. My OH bought it for stoning olives. I have used it and would do so again if the birds didn't eat my cherries before they're ripe. The trees are too big for me to net them.

DVD player - can't remember the last time we watched a DVD!

My late FIL has left cupboards full of gadgets that have either never been used, or rarely:
4 Deep fat fryers - only one of them used
7 DAB radios - all still boxed
                          9 Rechargeable drills
                          4 Reciprocal saws
                          3 Circular saws
                          2 Table saws
1 Air compressor that looks brand new
6 Flat screen TVs - he only ever used the one in the living room (which I haven't included), but had a TV in every room apart from the bathroom.

What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
                          Pumpkin pi.
