I'll have to be selective about the crops I use. I doubt I could use it for root veg as it would be a problem harvesting say just one swede.

Definitely use it for rainwater. You could connect it to your roof gutter and run it down to a water tank, or you could just lay it out at ground level to intercept and channel water that comes out of the bottom of the downpipe.

I currently have 14 water butts & a stream fed pond. There is only so much water I can harvest.

Stick it on Freecycle, and hope someone comes along to take it off your hands.

Get the unguttered sheds on our site fitted with guttering and then people can start collecting water.

could you use some of it for shelving- perhaps in a shed?

Maybe all the way round the room as a dado rail for storage ??

Are they wide enough to hold seed packs, even if you cut en to fit inside a plastic container, grow short root stuff, carrots, radish lettuce leaves ext ext,if all else fails, collect a few live snails and slugs, take along to the pub, together with several lengths of guttering, and invite peeps to race the slimes, make a few pennies at the same time, fun all round.
