It converts all times automatically to French time for me....and that's showing the new correct time.

That's odd John, I just looked & you are set for automatic DST on the forum is the clock on your pc correct ? if yes all I can suggest is to clear your recent history & see if that corrects the situation

All I can think is that something is not refreshing correctly, click History, Clear Recent, then select Today from the drop down list in the new box, that I think should sort it, the down side is that it will forget what threads you have read in that time
