Mine don't polish the floor - rather the opposite, in fact!

Just had a short spurt of Domestic Goddessness opened and cleaned the bedroom secondary glazing, and vacuumed up all the webs, carcasses and spiders' mess. Put up the new nets, bunged the old nets in the machine, and then put the new thick, lined, curtains up, that have been sitting in a bag since I bought them in the summer.

Hopefully the room will be less draughty now...

No. I don't often have any use for newspaper, to be honest. I certainly don't read them, although, I occasionally get a few from my parents, so I can wrap any gunk we may have, for the food bin.

Well, new bedroom curtains look fab! I need to get bedding to co-ordinate with them now. I bought the curtains on the 'Bay, but they were for the lounge. They are far too nice to cut up into two smaller pairs, so have been re-homed in the bedroom. Still need decent pairs for the lounge - I hate cheap nasty drapes.

G'Moooooooornin' Peeps! Wet here again, after overnight rain. Difficult to get up this morning, as the 'new' curtains are thick, heavy and dark.

Got into work early (7am) for a meeting which was then cancelled, so went for a run instead...Managed to drag myself round for 11km
