Morning, everyone. Off into the big city this morning (Leeds) and then again this evening. A lack of planning on my part! It has been cool and cloudy for several days, which is a shame but on the other hand I'm sleeping better because of it. Hope you all have smashing Fridays.

After 2 months of intense heat and sun we are having a family barbeque tonight and its pouring down with rain. Oh well I shall just have to cram them all into the poly tunnel.

Cooler (but still well warm) and a bit dull at the mo, and rain forecast for later. I don't mind as I'm behind the desk.

Rude awakening this morning with the skip lorry calling across the road at veryearly a.m. - but the skip was behind the locked fencing. Too early for the workmen to have arrived. I had the choice of getting up, or going back to sleep for an hour. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Household tasks completed so off to the plot, winter brassica's to plant, forecast for heavy rain tomorrow has now changed to light showers so watering to do as well
