OOOhhhh...we've just had a massive thunderclap and there's a really dark band of clouds heading our way!
May have to turn off the computer for a while!...it's suddenly gone very windy too...how exciting- must be the electricity in the air!!!

It was so sunny and hot i had to take my coat off this morning, then suddenly we had the mother of all hail storms and fierce wind. Once it passed out came the sun again.

Sorry folks, didn't mean to instigate a guessing game! Potting bench made from scaffold boards. I've been wanting one for over a year. He demolished my chest-of-drawers-without-the-drawers last week before it finally collapsed (I think I told you all that last week, you must have been out that day ).
I've made the sausage rolls for the GGs, one of them Quorn as the youngest now doesn't eat meat This is her second week, not sure how long it will last.
Weather is much the same here as yours Bill. I've been in and out with the washing like a fiddler's elbow.

Just been out to bring in the washing - again. Throwing it down again so I'm not putting them out again, which will guarantee the sunshine. I've made 5 portions of cheesy, lucky chicken pasta for lunches and before you ask, it's called that because if you're lucky you might find a piece of chicken in there. Oh well, the hoover is waiting to be pushed. See you later

Well, I've been battling with our 'hit-and'miss' internet connection so much lately, that I've just fired off a 'whinge' by email to our service provider. I registered an interest in their upgrade to 'fibre-optic-which-will-be-happening-in-my-area-in-the-next-six-months' well over a year ago, and they still haven't implemented it. So I whinged about that, too. I also whinged that we pay the same as those nearer the exchange, but we get a far inferior service, and I'm not happy about it!

Should that've been in the 'rant' thread?

You can't out smug me today, Trip - I've done 4 training session if 5 days and am enjoying a well earned rest day.

Yay - another session this afternoon and my first plot is now 1/4 under control! 3 out of the 12 beds dug over, two planted and two paths sorted out with weed membrane and wood chips.
