Good Evening, thank you for noticing my ears have been lowered It's blowing a gale here too now. There'll be black buckets all over the garden soon - youngest son demolished my make-do potting bench where they were all stored, (it had to be done before it collapsed) so they're totally exposed to the elements.

Evening .....yet another foggy day , didn't clear till nearly lunchtime again Not sure whether Jakes pulling a fast one or if he's not well ......he's been skulking about looking miserable but then when he thought I was busy in the gh I caught sight of him charging round the garden ...hmmmm

Off out today for a 'bit of culture' and a lunch out in Covent Garden ( hope), so no gardening today.

Off to National Portrait Gallery, to see David Bailey exhib, and maybe other stuff.

They are a bit thick on the ground this week G4

Morning all - later this morning, but I have been up since 7.00, just doing other stuff. It is grey here but the cloud is high and there is a promise of some sunshine. I have put the chicken to sit in the tandoori marinade, the veggie curry is in the slow cooker (it is a little fiery, OH usually makes it but he is still in hospital and is very poorly indeed). Younger son coming over this afternoon to spend the night. I am off to the allotment in a bit for some more horticultural therapy. It doesn't stop me brooding but I am at least productive whilst I am brooding. And it is physically tiring which should help me to sleep. Have a good day all.

Yes, afraid so Nicos. Doctors have tried all the usual treatments and he is not responding. On a ventilator in Critical Care Unit, very poorly. He has status epilepticus and has not stopped 'fitting' for a fortnight; apparently even when in a medically induced coma. It's an anxious time.
