Feet up and can of beer no. 1 in hand - tomorrow is another day

            • It's raining again here. I think something has bitten me, I've got a very itchy spot near my elbow. My eldest GG says I have 3D hands I think because my palms are plump, soft and squidgy. Pass us that G&T G4, I think I need it.

                • Well, the cooked chicken slices that I was going to have for tea which I took out the freezer this morning to defrost were still frozen, so I had cod in batter and stick fries instead. There were a few lonely vitamins in the shape of last year's broad beans, but that's about it.

I've scoffed a couple of clementines just to ward off scurvy!

                  • Hazel, you can cook chicken from frozen, so maybe a quick flash fry would have done it.

Don't know whether or not to have a coffee.......?

Forgot to say that he'd bought the gloves for me and anyway they were far to small for his hands

                      • Come to think of it Hazel, I've had no Vitamin C today. We had slab pie (filled with left over meat & tater mashed up with lots of Hendersons Relish) and I couldn't be bothered with veg.

It was already cooked - roasted chicken slices that I'd bought for a dish a couple of weeks ago. It was (very!) cheap as it was on the sell by date - I ate half and froze half, and this was the frozen half. It'll be defrosted for tomorrow's tea and I'll have it with risotto then.
