I glanced at the recipes before going shopping, noted the ingredients list, and bought a massive (1.5kg) bag of onions for the soup.

Reading the recipe through properly, and I need 4 medium onions for 4 portions of soup. There are about 40 onions in the bag.....
I'd make double the quantity and freeze it for later.

Use all the onions Hazel, make a huge batch and leave it where you left the baking, we'll all have some

Blimey Trip, an hour and a half is a long time to keep your mouth open without pouring a drink in (or chatting )
Hope you're soon back to normal - I think!!

Yes it is a long time and he made sure my wallet was well open too
They also have to isolate the tooth, which is a strange experience I thought...
Think of a piece of rubber or latex being wrapped around it, with the corners draped out of your mouth ....

Good Morning. Quite mild and fine, rain expected later. I've an early finish as the trim has come around again. Have a good day

Please could everyone cross their fingers that my washing machine is fixed. It's taken 5 engineer visits. I'll know in an hour if it going to complete the cycle.
In the meanwhile I need to decide what to do with two trays of onion seed sowed last weekend which the cats have had a dig in, but more annoying have taken the labels out and I don't know which is which. Grr!
