Driving Question

Guess what I would do.

Find an alternate route to avoid that part of the city centre?
Catch a park-and-ride bus?
Let the wife go shopping on her own?

I am very,very pleased to read that the reason for this thread is because of a friendly discussion rather than an accident as I at first thought it would be.

No accident. Not even a near-miss.
The road was fairly quiet at the time.
But as my wife disagreed with what I'd done and because friends had more different thoughts on what was best (so no consensus), I thought it would make an interesting discussion.

I think you would drive out of the junction into the right hand lane, stop, then reverse up the road bleeping with the doody doody reversing bleeper, then turn down that tiny side road. Thus avoiding the hairpin altogether.

I would be very interested to hear your views on if/when/where you'd use your indicators.

80% of cars don't have indicators fitted. Do they?

Me, I indicate every time I change lane or direction, and esp for overtaking cyclists, so that the car behind me knows there's a hazard
