Years ago before I did any real gardening I worked for a shop which had 6 or so pallets a week which went to the rubbish men. Too think of all the things I could build with them if I still worked there!

The bad news is.......I couldn't find the skipful of pallets.......
The good news is.......my neighbour says he gets them in work and never knows what to do with them...............so I gave him an address
The even better news is ..........the nail-less raised bed is almost complete
    Photos will follow!!

Watch this space! I'm on my way to the almost no-nails raised bed (perhaps )

Would you believe it - the lady I scrounged yesterday's pallet from (and I only met yesterday) has just visited to say that there's a skip down the road full of pallets
    See you later..........

Great video Moth. I usually use pallets by sawing the straight pieces away from the naily bits, sanding and then using for large plant labels. But I'm going to get some dismantled using that technique now!

Thanks for info BW - I saw one of these in a Poundworld yesterday alongside another unmarked one.

Never knew there was a difference other than colour

    Just a small point.

Do not use any BLUE pallets as they are owned by Chep UK Ltd
The pallets are rented out & remain the property of Chep & only licensed users are supposed to have them.
Chep have been known to seek compensation for persons using(damaging ) their pallets who should not have them.
It happened to the BBC a few years ago when a gardening programme used some for staging.

Nah! Just get a couple of bales of meadow hay. Put it right outside their burrows and they shouldn't need to go ant further to nick your treats

You just need to feed the rabbits then VC - Get some treats in for them. I had pheasants for a few years at the garden bird feeder, it cost me a fortune!

The garden is fenced - problem is - the rabbits live inside the fence
Next door's Jack Russell has a regular prowl around and the buzzard's are often in the trees, waiting.
    I don't need a compost bin - I use the trampoline
So sorry, I am determined to turn these pallets into a planter of some sort

Just get a bloke in to build you a fence or get some lads with some gun and dogs to reduce the numbers!
