Good morning all, dull, breezy and overcast...so much for summer.

Good morning.

It's grey and cloudy here too, the forecast says showers in the vicinity.

I have had the best night's sleep I've had on months. I even worked out how to stop the adverts at the end of the Paul McKenna video, not that I needed to, I was fast asleep. It us so much better to sleep at a normal time, rather than still being awake at 5 or 6am.

I just heard a knock on the door and there on my doorstep was this months "Cheesebox". My sister gave me a birthday present of a 3 month subscription. They all look very nice, and knowing that their arrival was imminent, I had bought some nice crackers yesterday. There is also a packet of virgin bloody mary crisps in the box, tomato flavour, I assume. I know, in my much younger days, I used to drink vodka and tomato juice but never ordered a bloody mary as I wasn't keen on having tabasco and/or Worcestershire sauce in it.

Snoop Puss, you've got me thinking, "lady" or "woman? I don't mind either. I think it all depends on the context and the way it is said. I'm sure I've been called much worse than either.

• Good afternoon, havent been on much lately as I feel I havent much to pass on and between my back seizing up and my knee giving problems I haven't been doing very much, though will be going for an x-ray on Thursday, when at the doctor's about my knee he asked if I wanted have a replacement if required, to which I said yes, I thought so he said, you are too active to be sitting around, I am now wondering if I could have the two knees done at the same time, the left knee was replaced one year after my right so that 19years since that was done, though I will wait and see what my x-ray shows.
• GF I would just refer to all of you as girls, rather than ladies or women, though you no doubt know I would be using that term very loosely
• Well I,wish you all a good day and hope you have it warmer and drier than it is here, whatever keep smiling and pass the smiles on

You very much have my sympathies Rary re your back…interferes with absolutely everything doesn’t it?
Hope that continues to improve…I’ll see if I can find my magic wand for you to borrow.

Personally…I tend to call a group of older ‘wimmin’ ‘girls’ to their menfolk…as probably most of them were mature girls when they started dating..just like I call them ‘boys’ to their wimmin- folk!

Afternoon all,a real live one eh,wonders what on earth the teacher had been saying before hand,that was very funny,
Nicos i am please for you ref the back,it makes all the difference to one's mindset,is only when you geeting better,you realize how bad it was,

Ref this weather,yesterday afternoon was hot hot hot,son and DL came and did some odd jobs,whilst we were out at lunch club they took down the net tunnel,it was a lovely supprise,by ek they must have gone at it,then we all set too on the weed we could not get to,and MR dug up some small docs in another area,i did not do to much as my lumber area was giving me greif,what a heck of a difference,son also made use of an older shopping trolly frame,it is now the battery,pump and solar pannel ,keep the wires all tidy,it works brilliant,just have to keep eye on the gage that says what powere i have left,i even descovered it powerfull enough to have a sprinkler on the end,just got to see if i can get a smaller fit end,or makle somut up to hold it on,just had an idea,thinking about cutting the end off a water can,see what and it it can be of any use,i have seven or eight of them,oohhh,looks like the sun is trying to come out to play,think i will try the garden,still got lots to plant out,
