  • Revisiting a Seller's eBay page less than 24 hours after reporting all his 'dodgy' listings, to find all but the last one of them, vanished! He has a new listing, that I won't need to report. Cheeky bleeper!

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

      • Just run a bath and opened a Guinness for my OH.

He came back from work and I asked if he could perhaps just put back a couple of stepping stones behind the back door that he'd taken up so I could easily get between the patio and backdoor .
2 hrs later he called me to see if I was happy with what he'd done.
Not only had he put them back but added another 2 , plus 3 further along in a sweep from the patio into the barn.
THEN he'd wheelbarrowed about 30 barrowfuls of gravel from the front of the house to level it off.
I'm Soooo thrilled- it's looking really nice and cared for now!

Tomorrow if the rain holds off he said he'll make a small flower border against the house too!

                              • It's been a good day today. Mr Frosty has been at the Beatson and his chemo has shrunk his GBM tumour, so instead of weeks we are now talking months - I am so bl@@dy pleased. Just had a nice lunch with friends and Mr Frosty is now zzzzzzzzzzzzz in bed. Mr Frosty will be 56 on the 4th of April and I've arranged to go to a falconry centre. Now I've got my fingers crossed for 9th July, our 20th wedding anniversary.
