      • I do it for 3 reasons, 1 to defeat the mice, 2 to get an early start, 3 I like to kick start them under cover to help me get a second crop from the same containers.

Oh and 4 it makes me happy.

        • Ok, I've taken your advice, just planted loads in modules, now sitting in plastic thingamy, waiting for the sun to return.

          • Don't let them overheat during the day. This sunshine is unusual for this time of year.

                • Isn't this just the loveliest time of year? The early flowering trees are starting to bloom, in sheltered spots the hedges are frothy with blackthorn blossom or showing that first bright green flush of new leaf, the days are getting longer and milder, bees and butterflies are out and about, the birds are starting to sing properly again. Springtime makes me so happy!

                  • First picnic of the year.
In a field by the side of a country lane.
No cars/tractors/people passing by....just my n my OH.
Listening to 2 skylark and watching a coypu feeding nearby.
Hot sunshine and no need for a jumper.

Should be ok, doesn't get sun all the time, but I'll keep an eye on them.
