Good morning everyone, very hot and sunny here again. Watered my GH's this morning but haven't done much else. Our exchange student is still here and I've completely neglected my garden and veg plot while trying to entertain him! I know I should let him get on with it but he's so different to my boy that they are struggling to find much in common.

Back from the lottie. It takes along time to hand weed, but I've not yet managed to master the art of hoeing. The broad beans look happier for some breathing space! The OH has strimmed the boarders and the areas that we've not yet managed to dig over.

Aaaaaaaaaaareternoooooooon Peeps - warm again here, so went and did Horsey chores and walked the dogs before it got even hotter.

The missing camera is a dinky little silver N!k0n in a dinky little black padded case. Last seen when Hubby wanted to borrow it, as he can't find his. He denies having borrowed it, but it isn't where it usually lives. I haven't used it since my trip to Norfolk last August, and as I need it for this year's trip, I want the ruddy thing found and the batteries charged. Bummocks!

Just filled up the chooks' water troughs, and noticed that my IBC is down to the last dregs, as I lifted the cover to check! Hubby has been very dutifully watering the spuds in tubs, and has used more than I thought

Back from plot, after a couple of hours, mainly fruit picking, now am so sleeeeepy!
But there is all that fruit that needs to be dealt with! Raspberry ice cream and raspberry jam, I think!

Love the colour HH - one of my favourites
Years ago, on holiday in Sri Lanka, I was "dressed" in a sari. It was turquoise blue (another of my favourite colours) and I felt so elegant in it - quite unlike the usual scruffy me. The fabric has such a wonderful feel too. Makes me feel quite nostalgic about getting dressed up for occasions - can't remember the last time.

HH you do look pretty so I can't get over why you've not been snapped up already, so I was wondering how was todays 'do'

Wasn't that cool or floaty, hazel. Mama H did try and dissuade me, its very warm today and that thing is actually quite heavy with the border at the bottom and the bit over my shoulder. Was trussed up like a turkey! Luckily, today it was only me going. But when there are three of us and in saris; mother helps all three of us dress up. Complains that we should learn how to, but im all fingers and fumbs with it.
