I'm with you on the aches G4 - full day at the allotment yesterday, and all afternoon today. Been a lovely sunny day but the wind is still cold here on the coast.

I did help but some of them were 40 inch longOriginally posted by Glutton4... View Post

Ah ha,in the morning I shall have look in the shed racking, there SHOULD be some brand new green coloured "1 tonne" tote bags, all being well I could drop a couple off late in the month when we come down to visit the Welsh botanic gardens
Will confirm one way or the other on the morrow

Are they like builder's bags, BB? I wondered whether they were the same dimensions as the crates! In fact, I have an old one somewhere - I'll try it for size tomorrow.Originally posted by bearded bloke View PostI'm back from the pub

Yep thems the ones VC,sand bags with loops at the corners,I thought if they are in the shed & the right size the green colour would not be as visible as the normal white or yellow ones
