How can anyone NOT want children?

They are doing the world a favour, because the population is exploding. We want kids though so we have to try to do it favours in other ways.

My wife wants 3 kids, there were 3 in her family and 3 in mine so it's a nice number but I'd like to stop at 2 if we had a boy. If it's 3 girls then I'll be spending a lot more time in my garden because my vote wont count for much in the house

Sorry but in one sentence you say that people without kids are doing the world a favour, but you seem to be determined to keep going until you have a boy Its none of my business so you don't need to answer me - I'm just saying, that's all

I find it strange the way nature works - cos most women say "never again" after the first - but we seem to forget all that and do it all again...and sometimes again and again and again

I did the world a favour too - if that's how you want to look at it. I don't, I did it because I'm selfish and didn't want babies getting in the way of my life. I've never regretted that decision.

My aunt had 5 girls and never wanted a boy , said she wouldn't know what to do with one ....

I love kids but enjoy being able to give them back to mum n dad at the end of the day more.

My decisions and plans made no difference whatsoever and I had 3 anyway... I'd probably have ended up with more if I hadn't had the relevant bits removed Wouldn't have it any other way now though, even though I'm practically white-haired now, and poor as a church-mouse
